E-QIS is a Toronto-based studio that composes objects. The forms suggest a perspective on life that invokes a personal reference, propose an alternate point of view or question the norm. While the objects are created to be sculptural, they are fully functional in their intended use. The idea is to encourage a dialogue and an intimacy between the object and its user – a personal relationship. The materials, textures, and finishes are selected to achieve this objective.
